Dear Colleagues,
Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery has become one of the important subjects of General Surgery both in the world and in our country. We are honored to invite all our colleagues working in this field, devoted to bariatric surgery and interested in these techniques, to the 8th Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders Congress, which will be held at Nirvana Cosmopolitan Congress Center, Kundu/Antalya on 5-8 October 2023. Since this congress will also host the 8th Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders Congress and the 3rd Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Dietitians Congress, it is a congress with wide participation.
We wanted to hold our congress as much as possible when the weather conditions are the best in Antalya. We prepared the scientific program in line with your suggestions, together with a large scientific committee. We would like to thank the valuable scientific committee members who worked with great devotion during the preparation of the scientific program. In our congress, where obesity and metabolic problems and the methods applied to solve these problems will be discussed, we thought to discuss the main problems and trends in our country.
The 3rd Congress of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Dieticians will be a congress consisting of scientific sessions in which the nutritional methods before and after metabolic and bariatric surgery will be explained with real cases, emphasizing the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork, current issues in the field will be discussed and discussed with experts.
We think that this congress, where scientific sharing and experiences of people who put their effort and heart into the surgical treatment of obesity and metabolic disorders will be presented, will contribute to the professional development of all of us, and that we need to do good works together so that we can grow as the bariatric surgery community. For this reason, we would like to see each of you among us and become a bigger and stronger family together.
